Looking for a Purpose to Guide You in your Entrepreneurial Pursuits?

At any time have you found yourself wondering what is the reason for doing what you’re doing while pursuing your quest to become an entrepreneur? Of course money does play a factor in the overall equation but has there ever been a question in your mind as to what you could be doing to guide you in your journey?

Some time back I recall someone telling me that the reason why he is in business is to help people solve their problems. I also heard someone mention a phrase which included the words “trade something of value for value” in the movie “Atlas Shrugged Part Two.” Author Wallace Waddles in his book “The Science of Growing Rich” talks about the need to be offer something of value in order to move forward on the path of attaining riches.

Think about it, doesn’t it make sense that if you have something, whether it be a product or service and someone in the general public has a need for your product or service, that the possibility exists of some sort of profitable deal being arranged? Of course when it comes to friends and family you would be willing to help them without charge but anyone else who might be in need of what it is you have to offer is definitely a potential client for you! Should such situations come up where someone just happens to need whatever it is you have to offer and the thought of broaching the subject makes you feel awkward; try saying something simple such as “If I could show you a way that (could solve whatever their problem is)…, would you be interested?” You never know, the answer just may be “Yes!”

Now granted, if you just sit around waiting for people to approach you with their problems (let’s hope it deals with something you are qualified to assist them with!), it may be a while. But if you venture out into the world to promote your offers (a.k.a. advertising), you will probably get better results.

Something also to consider prior to going out into the proverbial marketplace is knowing what it is that people want or need. No sense promoting candlewicks when your potential clients would just as soon buy a candle that already has the wick included! If you have not done so already, learn what it takes to conduct good niche market research. There are a variety of tools available (free as well as for sale) that can help you with this. Check out videos on YouTube that are a good source of information to help with this.

Best Wishes on the achievement of your goals and here is to a PROSPEROUS & PROFITABLE 2014!!
