This has not only to do with saying something good to yourself, but saying it over and over and over again. It goes back to “mirror mirror, on the wall”. You are your own mirror and you in fact are talking to yourself repeatedly to reinforce and inscribe the concept into your subconscious mind.
What does this all have to do with you the aspiring entrepeneur? Plenty! Â Whenever we embark on a new venture where there is some discomfort involved, it never hurts to tell ourselves that we are capable individuals and that what we seek to achieve is possible. Â One of my favorite affirmations comes from the legendary Bob Proctor; “I am so happy and thankful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities, through multiple sources, on a continuous basis.” Â The beauty of affirmations is that you can come up with your own that suit you! Â They don’t need to be purchased and don’t require any one else’s approval, just yours. Â You can custom fit your affirmations to suit any and all your desires! Â The part I like the most is that you are talking as if your outcome has already transpired.
I recently came across a wonderful blog post that deals with the subject of positive affirmations and would like to include the link so you can read it as well. Â My thanks to the author, Andrea Barnett.
